Daytona Beach International Airport celebrates the holidays
Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) is celebrating the holiday season with special musical performances and other holiday activities. The following photo and media opportunities are available:
- The Galaxy Middle School chorus will perform at 10 am Saturday, Dec. 17, at the main entrance.
- Holiday hot cocoa in the concourse, served by local public safety officers:
- The Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting (ARFF) crew at DAB will serve from 9:30 to 11 am and 2:30 to 4 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 21.
- Volusia Sheriff’s Office deputies stationed at DAB will serve 10 to 11 am Thursday, Dec. 22.
- Volusia County Beach Safety officers and lifeguards will serve noon to 1:30 pm Thursday, Dec. 22.
- Santa and Mrs. Claus will greet arriving passengers between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, in the baggage claim area.
Passengers and visitors can also enjoy the festive holiday décor, which includes a new 22-foot tree with bright-colored LED lights, and the beautiful poinsettia tree-- a DAB holiday favorite for more than 30 years!
