Some special visitors made a stop at Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) on Friday, spreading good cheer to all--- and leaving small gifts for the arriving passengers! Santa knows that passengers arriving at DAB are oh so nice, and the jolly ol’ elf has made DAB a regular stop for many years.
Santa and the holiday cheer team first greeted the Delta Airlines, American Airlines and Avelo Airlines aircrafts as the pilots taxied to the gates, then they welcomed passengers in the baggage claim area for flights arriving between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Small gifts magically appeared on the baggage belts next to each piece of luggage.
Also on Friday, DAB released its 2nd annual holiday song performed by DAB airport employees and the airport's tenants including Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, Avelo Airlines, Transportation Security Administration, car rentals, Faber food service, JCM janitorial, Volusia Sheriff's Office & County of Volusia Fire Services. The video was produced by the airport’s marketing department and the County of Volusia’s Community Information division.
